S.W.A.T spoiler - objections I object to some of the actions and character points of Jim Street. Towards the beginning of the film, it is established that Street has been helping to cover up the less-than-above-board actions of one of his teammates, who has also blatantly defied orders. Street would never stand for that kind of insubordination. As I recall, there was specifically an episode of the TV show where a new member was temporarily brought on because one of the regular members was hurt, and friction arose when the new temp member turned out to be a sort of free-wheeling cowboy who acted not as part of the team. My biggest objection, though, is that they used the name of one of the characters from the TV show and made him into the traitorous S.W.A.T. member. T.J. McCabe would never, NEVER, betray his team, no matter what, and definitely not for money of any amount.
