Fame - movie review (March 24, 2007)
I haven't seen the movie in ages, so I popped the DVD in. It's still a great movie, and they do a good job of taking you through the four years at the performing arts school. I was most intrigued about seeing Paul McClane again, especially since I'm so used to him being Romano from "ER" and then his stint on "24" that seeing him as the insecure homosexual kid with lots of curly red hair was amazing. I completely hadn't remembered that that's where I know him from first until it was brought up a couple weeks ago.
I forgot about the Rocky Horror sequence, but once it started, I thought I remembered that it was longer.
I wasn't nearly as infatuated with Lee Curreri as I remember being at the time.
